Fun Facts About Mr. Moberg

I was born in Maryland but lived in 4 different states on both coasts before finally moving to Illinois.
I attended Oakcrest (Formerly Beach Park School) when it was a 4-6th grade building. I was reunited with many of my former teachers when I started teaching at Howe School!
Everyone knows I love music... But not many know that I listen to practically everything! My iPod boasts a very random assortment of playlists of classical, pop, country, rock, rap, indie, dance, hip-hop, choral, and instrumental music.
I play six instruments: Piano, guitar (electric and acoustic), voice, drums/percussion, bass, and of course my favorite elementary instrument... the recorder!
I sang my first solo in second grade in an elementary production at my local church. I was very nervous, but once I started, I relaxed and had a great time!
Growing up, I played basketball, tennis, and my favorite sport, soccer.
I occasionally like to bring out my inner child at home with some video games. I grew up playing Mario, and Zelda, but one of my favorite games will always be guitar hero! Guitar and bass on expert of course.
Before becoming a teacher, I was a Starbucks barista. Yes, I still speak "Starbucks," and no, I can't drink anything else! Summer drink: Iced Grande, Easy Water, 2 Pump White Mocha, Americano.
I love superhero movies and always wanted to be Iron Man when I was little.
I have been to 9 different countries: USA, Bahamas, Spain, Germany, France, Lichtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxemburg.
